Iktaara (wake up sid) with George Kuruvilla and arrangement by Anil.B.S

A song which I have fallen in love with, in recent times.

There are very few songs which Manohar, my better half enjoys quite a bit, and this happens to be one of them. Today marks our 11th year wedding anniversary, and this goes out to him.

Anil- Thank you! I wouldn’t be posting this today without your beautiful recreation, absolutely loved the track!

And, George- you completed what I started, and your vocals & mix makes all the difference to this cover :-) Thank you!

Movie: Wake up Sid
Originally composed by: Amit Trivedi
Originally sung by: Kavitha Seth & Amitabh Bhattacharya
Music arrangement: Anil.B.S

Meera and George,

Barring some small errors in pronunciation, this can easily replace the original :) Absolutely wonderful! Not very often that a cover is so delightful to listen to :)

Meera, sorry for the late wishes, but a very happy anniversary to you both!

Meera i will never miss your blog dearest darling. Never knew u had one all these days.
Having listening to you for almost a year would love to say a few points.

1. The attitude, tone adapted, and the smoothness with which you sang this song, is in itself a great feat.

2. U not being a native Hindi speaker still could not find the least diction problem in this particular song and i am proud to call myself a fan of your singing.

The humming by GEORGE KURUVILLA, and my most most favorite singer in the blogger world and musical site, is excellent.

Your Aalaps at the end made it an everlasting, memorable rendition and i have it in my i-pod:)
All in all i have nothing to give u all except thank u very much for giving such wonderful music which makes my day.

I mean what i say and all this is written from my heart.
Would surely take out time and give my feedback on all your songs as u know still there are many fav' in your list which i love from the depth of my heart.

MUSIC IS DIVINE AND U HAVE IT SUPREME:)
LOVE U MY DEAREST MEERA, GOD BLESS!

Meera

After a very long time reconnecting and as was browsing found this gem of a rendition of a gem. You have done full justice to Kavita Seth's efforts and George K - great job guy for the feel of the song and the track was excellent. Fantastic job. Hearing this I would like you to delight all of us with "Mathura Nagarapati" from Raincoat by Shubha Mudgal. Looking forward and by the way belated anniverssary wishes // or anniversary wishes in advance. Warm regards // Ramanan
