Hrudhayam ekkadunnadhi??

The Tamizh version of this number was our first duet together. This was also one of my earliest posts where I was still a nouveau audioblogger, not that I am any better now *LOL*. I still remember times when I have deleted the whole recording by mistake, and mourned the rest of the day for that version would have been my best!!

This song is again being re-released in Telegu this time around. So here's fulfilling Kiran Malla's request!

Movie: Ghazini

Music by Harris Jayaraj
Originally rendered by Harish Raghavendar and Bombay Jayashree
Sung by Jo & Meera

Wonderful work guys. It sounded as good as or even a shade better than err... the tam one you did some time back. Your voice has come through very well in this Meera.

Jo,Meera:

very very nice. Good you redid this song and it sounds wonderful. I personally do not like this song much since it's meter is kind of recycled from "pachchai kiLigaL thOdu" and lacks the melodic strength of the latter. However that is no reason for not enjoying the renditions of you guys. Meera - very very soulful. nanna anubavichcu paadu ipdi. It is really great. Jo, It is indeed tuf to keep up with the shruthi in the beginning of the song due to the absence of any proper backing instrument. You have done a very good job.

And the recording quality is very very good.

Guess am glad to have learnt a thing or two about singing in the last 4 months *grin*

And... thanks much for listening in!

Hey Meera and Jo - This one was the best one I have heard as duet on this blog. Great guys! I am Telugu speaking and carefully was also observing the diction. Guys, let e tell you one cannot expect more than what you have given. You have done a superb job!

Recording is amazing!

Came out quite well except for some funny reason you sounded more like Chitra than Bombay Jayshree. Your voice sounded much thinner and u went out of tune (scale kinda) in the second para..marankothi paravai line in telugu. I thot this would be one song where you'd just ace it, but didnt come out as well as I thot it would. 2.5 stars on 5.
