Meera, Sorry! I forgot to congratulate you too!

Best Wishes!
( I have uploaded the song at another site where the bandwidth is better! If you , Jo or Indu have objections, pls tell me and I will take them off immediately!
Hi Meera,
Well sung, but each couplet of the lyrics of the songs sound a trifle repetitive. A good effort. (Hope these comments are taken in its true spirit.)
You have a great voice! Keep up the good work. Looking forward to more!
Let me comment before I'm asleep!!!
It's really great, Meera. Ur voice is superb and the pronunciation never bothered me!
Keep it up...........

Good one Meera. Finally you have donned the composers attire =d>
Nice work !! Sounded good on my ears :)
Congratulations !!!
makes me wanna sing "Thaalatudhey Vaanam...thalladudhey megam"
Bluebyrd, this was composed by JO. I had no hand in that...
:)
..... grr grr!!
great work!
Meera,
Well done. Nice composition.
Neelambari is an amazing raaga for insomnia !. Truly makes you go to sleep.!
Wish I knew Malayalam.
Only thought - Your voice in the Pallavi is a little hoarse in the Pallavi, Was it the overload?
NV sir..
Good observation. My post laryngitis/flu songs seem to suffer from constant hoarseness. I can't seem to render w/t clearing the throat a few times within a span of few mins.
Result: intital pallavi hoarseness u heard...
I hope it will get better very soon. I see a difference today..
Here just after dropping a comment on Jo's. Cross posting it here.
"Great job on the vocals Meera. You've crooned a wunderful lullaby. luved the improvisation on the "chirrikunnuvO" part. And, like NV said, looks like you've strained ur voice. Is a bit hoarse in places. But, the rendition overrides that. very very beautifully sung."
So, flu's the culprit eh? you gotta name for the songs sung after that too? ha ha. Get better. Sore throats are not for singers.
PS- That PS sure was needed and why don't you try singing HMB's "Maathey"?(Heard it in "Morning Raaga". And the first thing that came to my mind after listening to you sing was this)
Bharat:
Thanks for dropping by...
Yes-- sore throat is a killer *sigh sigh*
As to the rendition-- it was all based on Jo's wonderful version that I improvised on. So all credit to him to have fuelled my thoughts!!
As to Morning raaga-- it's so weird that you should mention it...Me's totally gaga over that song and Sudha Ragunathan's voice :) Let me try if I get a karaoke.. I shall punish you all if I am successful @ that (-:
Meera, its really great.
ore kalakals dhaan :)
ara thookathulla composara maathitten...Saari paar tha distapans !!!
Fab job Jo Maashey !! Meera i dont really mind the postlaryngitis hoarseness one bit :D
Meera:

You have an amazing voice! And you have sung it so beautifully that anyone can 'feel' the song. Thanks!
